Merchants on the Enterprise plan can view and manage your pattern matches by selecting a pattern redirect from the table on the Pattern Redirects page and clicking View matches on the action menu. The Pattern Matches page shows every customer visit that triggered a pattern redirect, including the original broken link, the redirect destination, and the number of visits. You can review each match, convert it into a 301 redirect, or ignore it.
Pattern matches let you see which specific broken URLs on your store have been visited and redirected by your pattern redirect. By viewing these matches, you can decide which ones to convert into 301 redirects and which to ignore.
This feature is available to merchants on the Enterprise plan. If you're on another plan, learn more about upgrading.

To view your pattern matches:
- Open the Redirect Pro app from your Shopify admin
- Click Pattern Redirects in the app navigation menu
- From the Pattern Redirects page:
- Select a pattern redirect

You'll be taken to the Pattern Matches page, filtered to show only matches related to the pattern you selected.
What does the Pattern Matches page show me?
The table on the Pattern Matches page is split into three views (or tabs):
- For Review – New matches that haven’t been actioned
- Converted – Matches you’ve turned into 301 redirects
- Hidden – Matches you’ve chosen to ignore
Each row in the table shows the detail for a pattern match:
- Broken link – The original 404 URL visited by the customer
- Redirect to – The URL they were sent to by the pattern redirect
- Visits – How many times this URL pairing has been triggered
- Last visited – The most recent time this match was visited
What can I do on the Pattern Matches page?
From the For Review tab, you can:
- Create 301 redirects from selected matches
- Hide matches that aren’t relevant (they’ll move to the Hidden tab)
- Sort by visit count or last visited date
From the Hidden tab, you can:
- Unhide matches if you change your mind
- Create 301s for matches you previously dismissed
From the Converted tab, you can:
- See matches that have already been turned into 301s
- Review the redirect destination for reference
