You can categorise and delete your 404s to hide or remove irrelevant ones and maintain a clean view of broken links for review.
To delete a broken link:
If a detected 404 is irrelevant or has very few visits, you can delete it from the table of broken links. Note this will remove it from view in the Redirect Pro app but the 404 will technically still exist.
- From your Shopify admin, open the Redirect Pro app.
- From the app navigation menu on the left, open the Broken Links page.
- Select one or more 404 URLs in the table.
- Click Delete.
- On the confirmation modal, Click Delete.
If you delete a 404 it will reappear in the table of broken links if it's visited again, so if it receives a lot of traffic you can move it to the 'Hidden' tab instead.
To hide a broken link:
When Redirect Pro detected a 404 it appears in the 'Unresolved' table. You can move broken links which are less relevant or have very few visits from the 'Unresolved' table to the 'Hidden' table.
- From your Shopify admin, open the Redirect Pro app.
- From the app navigation menu on the left, open the Broken Links page.
- On the table of broken links, click the Unresolved tab.
- Select one or more broken links in the table.
- Click Hide on the actions menu.
To unhide a broken link:
After hiding a 404 you can reverse this change by following the same process.
- From your Shopify admin, open the Redirect Pro app.
- From the app navigation menu on the left, open the Broken Links page.
- On the table of broken links, click the Hidden tab.
- Select one or more broken links in the table.
- Click Unhide on the actions menu.
