If you've tested broken link tracking and it's not working, there are some common reasons this might be the case. Read on for the solutions.
Check Redirect Pro is activated
Redirect Pro can only detect 404 broken links if the app embed is activated in your Theme Editor. Sometimes, if your theme is changed or updated, you will need to reactive the app.
Check your usage allowance
Key features like broken link tracking are temporarily disabled when you reached your monthly visits quota. You can confirm if you've reached your allowance from the Billing page in the app.
404 tracking will start working again at the start of a new calendar month when your usage resets, or immediately if you upgrade to a plan with a higher allowance.
Check the broken link is on your primary domain
Redirect Pro detects 404 broken links on your Shopify store's primary domain and not on secondary domains or subdomains. Try testing a broken link on your primary domain.
